PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Our client is a US company that offers tailored IT solutions and consulting for their clients. The company’s focus is process manufacturing industries that rely on PLM (product lifecycle management) solutions such as Food & Beverage to which they provide solutions. Examples for recipe formulation, nutrition, quality, distribution, and regulation. Their offerings encompass consulting, product support services, managed services and software development that includes both their own software (mainly on-prem though some are SaaS), integrations with e.g. Oracle and consulting services.
They mostly use .Net written API, AWS stack and Angular for the platform.
You will have a great opportunity to build an automation solution from the scratch and setup CI/CD intergrations. Our client is interested in testing for Lambda/.NET services.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Implement the UI automation solution from scratch for Web Application
• Implement the REST API automation solution from scratch
• Provide the qualified strategy of embedding automation solutions into CI/CD pipeline
• Implement the clear vision of automation execution model
• Design and execute UI automation tests
• Make status and quality reporting
• Work with strong cooperation with RnD team and client
EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
• Experience of Automation (UI/API) 3+ years
• Strong knowledge of OOP, design concepts and automation patterns of .NET/C#
• Microservice architecture knowledge and experience of testing
• Test experience with Cypress
• AWS stack experience
• Automation reporting frameworks (Allure, ReportPortal or similar)
• Strong experience of REST API testing and automation
• Sufficient knowledge of QA methodologies and processes (Agile)
• Comprehensive understanding an knowledge of Web Applications testing
• University Degree in Computer Related Sciences
• At least Intermediate English level (write/read/verbal)
WOULD BE A PLUS:
• Performance Automation testing experience
• Selenium Web Driver / Grid / Selenoid
• Familiarity and practical experience of Performance automation tools (JMeter, Gatling, Locust, Artillery or similar)
• CI tooling experience (Jenkins)
• Scripting experience (bash, shell, powershell)
