We are looking to add a courageous and eager Business Developer to our global team. You will be helping companies solve their software development needs, being one of our main outbound initiators, identifying, starting, running, and closing deals with a medium- to long-term perspective.

About the role: In cooperation with our lead-generators team you will be expected to establish strong, long-lasting relationships with new customers and ensure maximum value is provided across the board.

The job also entails proactive CRM- input to manage and organize the personal pipeline and target accounts/ecosystems. Close collaboration with sales and marketing colleagues in Beetroot is needed to maximize the impact and hit rate.

We are looking for a person that is humble and entrepreneurial, who gets excited about meeting interesting and competent entrepreneurs, and gets a kick from closing the next deal. You have an ambitious mindset and since the work is very operative, a key to success among Beetroots business developers is sales personality, tech-savviness, a problem-solving approach, and a self-driven mindset. The job entails rolling up your sleeves and getting things done – by self-motivation and self-leadership.

The role requires you to be

  • 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in an IT company, ideally in an outstaffing model
  • Flexible, entrepreneurial mindset – you’re not afraid to go into unexplored territories and can adapt to various business/customer needs
  • Tech-savvy: you know your way around the tech sector and have, at a minimum, a basic awareness of software development languages, frameworks, and tech terminology
  • Get-things-done attitude with a constant hunger for new challenges
  • A self-starter, autonomously identifying what needs to be done and going for it
  • A systematic approach to selling, but also being open to playing around with new channels and methods
  • Very customer and service-oriented attitude. You know how to build synergetic relationships and manage expectations of all the stakeholders involved
  • Have an International (open-minded) mindset with strong inter-cultural literacy
  • Fluent (dare to say native-level) English, both written and verbal. You can speak idiomatically and know your grammar

We consider it a bonus if you…

  • Have an established relevant network, in tech/engineering/consulting
  • Have experience from working in specific markets like the USA, specific European countries

Responsibilities

  • Penetrating new markets and raising market share in existing ones
  • Pitching our various service offerings to C-level execs in both start-ups and larger-scale enterprises
  • Defining the right solution for the right client, while also being able to cross-sell and enhance account value
  • Ensuring high-level service and end value maximization, sharing customer satisfaction responsibility with the delivery team
  • Learning the Beetroot ecosystem inside-out and being a brand ambassador in both internal and external interactions
  • Participating in strategic discussions with the management team
