Purpose of the job:
Our client is a large Seattle-based retailer that sells high-quality outdoor gear and apparel. You’ll take part in transforming the vision of Interaction Designers, Information Architects into interactive features that deliver exceptional experiences for customers.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead a team according to established processes while tightly collaborating with the stakeholders. Be responsible for team deliverables
- Take part in requirements analysis, tasks planning, estimation and distribution between the team members.
- Suggest technical and functional improvements that add value to the product.
- Research and evaluate technical options to implement business requirements.
- Write quality and maintainable code in a fast-paced professional software engineering environment
EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
MUST HAVE:
- 2+ years of TL experience.
- 5+ years of commercial WEB development experience.
- Strong JavaScript & TypeScript skills.
- Strong skills in Vue.js or willingness to switch from React
- Understanding of REST architecture.
- HTML/CSS.
- Experience with JS testing libraries (mocha, jest, etc.)
- Experience with source code management systems such as Git, Mercurial or Subversion.
- Good knowledge of all phases of the development lifecycle.
- At least Upper-Intermediate level of English.
WOULD BE A PLUS:
- Cross-browser and cross-platform design and testing experience
- React/Redux
- Working in an e-commerce retail environment
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related field
