Our client is an AI startup, headquartered in London backed by Tier 1 top level Venture Capital institution.
Overview:
We are looking for someone that will grow to become a critical part of our clients technology strategy and take technical ownership in a cross-functional team.
You will work on a wide range of technical challenges using a variety of client, server, cloud and database tools.
You must be comfortable collaborating on technical concepts with the ability to deliver them yourself, while also helping others to solve technical challenges.
You will work closely with the CTO and other senior team members to deliver the future roadmap while adding your own input to the teams technical direction and taking responsibility for engineering decisions.
Tech Stack:
• Node.js, Typescript, GraphQL, React, Next.js, Chakra-ui;
• Docker, PostgreSQL, Terraform, AWS, Kubernetes.
Responsibilities:
• Hands on development;
• Ensure quality and reliability of the platform;
• Build responsive, mobile friendly and beautiful web applications;
• Collaborate with product team members to define, scope and plan future requirements;
• Identify emerging issues and non-functional requirements, working with other team members to plan and implement solutions.
Must have skills:
• Team leader experience;
• 5+ years of software engineering with experience with JavaScript within modern web or mobile applications;
• Upper-Intermediate English and strong communication skills;
• Competent understanding of git or equivalent source control;
• You know how to manage your time correctly;
• Experience accessing or writing REST API or GraphQL services;
• Enough DevOps experience to setup, configure and maintain your own dev/build environment;
• Commercial experience with frontend technologies such as React, React Native, Next.js and/or Gatsby;
• Experience building backend applications with REST/GraphQL API service using Node.JS.
