We are looking for an experienced software developer to help revolutionize the Bocada data mining for our enterprise and SaaS technologies. As a Bocada Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to contribute at all levels of the software stack, from services and data mining to database and reporting. We need your help to create innovative solutions for our platform and customers in the IT infrastructure industry.

The Responsibilities of the Software Engineer:

• Write high quality, robust, secure, and scalable code
• Write unit tests for your code and facilitate automated end-to-end testing by writing test-enabled code
• Participate in peer code reviews
• Contribute to the architecture and design of an enterprise software product
• Take responsibility for the architecture, design, and development of a portion of the product
• Work closely with customers and the QA team to troubleshoot problems, triage bugs, analyze root causes and resolve them
• Work with product management and customer support team to understand and satisfy customer requirements
• Provide technical and thought leadership to the team
• Lead and provide the valid rationale to the team in choosing the best solutions to technical problems
• Proactively engage in improving engineering processes.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:

• Great sense of product ownership
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• 7+ years of enterprise software development experience
• A good understanding of software engineering principles
• Solid Web UI experience with JavaScript frameworks e.g. Vue.js React or Angular
• Full-stack experience with, MSSQL, .Net Framework, C# and/or C++
• Good experience in developing REST APIs and working with various web service authentication frameworks
• Experience or familiarity with cloud computing platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure
• Good English language communication skills (written and verbal)
• Proven track record of successfully delivering high-quality enterprise solutions over multiple product lifecycles
• Experience in an agile scrum development environment
• Good understanding of DevOps development practices
• Works independently across multiple product areas and features
