• 2+ years demonstrated experience in developing web applications using Strong Java Core, Spring (Core/Boot), Akka, Vert.x, Maven/Gradle
• Experience working on Document Databases specifically MongoDB
• Background with Relational databases (MySQL)
• Experience working on Messaging systems such as Kafka
• Experience integrating Java applications with other systems using RESTful APIs
• Experience with testing tools for Java: Unit-Testing (JUnit, Mockito)
• Experience with source control and build tools
• Experience with Bash scripting
• Experience with Agile practice, daily Stand-Ups and accountability to the software development team and development timelines
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• English language is a must
